This rare oolong comes from a pristine, high-altitude wilderness tea area in Meizhou, Guangdong Province. Grown at 800 meters above sea level, far from industrial pollution, the tea is produced from wild Phoenix Dancong tea trees that naturally co-exist with local flora and fauna.

Picked entirely by hand, this tea uses the traditional standard of one bud with three leaves. The bushes grow slowly in the wild, developing more complex inner compounds and resulting in a richer flavor. The leaves are processed using classical Dancong oolong methods: sun-withered, gently shaken, pan-fixated, hand-rolled, and finally slow-roasted on pine wood.

The dry leaves are dark and tightly twisted, releasing a clean honey and orchid fragrance. The liquor is a clear amber gold. The flavor unfolds in layers — honeyed sweetness, soft orchid perfume, and a lingering mountain freshness. It is persistent over many steeps, with a calming, grounding finish that reflects its natural origin.
