Jade Wind is a high-mountain oolong tea from Fujian Province, crafted in the elegant Oriental Beauty style. Grown at elevations around 1,100 meters in a biodiverse environment, the tea undergoes a natural oxidation process triggered by the bites of tiny leafhoppers (Jacobiasca formosana). These insect interactions induce a transformation in the chemical composition of the leaves, producing characteristic honeyed and fruity aromas.

The tea is harvested once a year in midsummer, when the conditions for this natural oxidation align. After picking, the leaves are sun-withered, gently tossed (yaoqing), partially oxidized (about 70%), rolled, and baked with precision in two stages to preserve their aromatic complexity.

The dry leaves display a mix of five colors — white, green, yellow, red, and brown — and release a floral-honey fragrance. The brewed liquor is amber-clear and velvety, with layered notes of ripe fruit, meadow honey, and summer grass. This tea is smooth, complex, and long-lasting on the palate.
