The image that tea is mostly calming is understandable, but wildly outdated. It entirely depends on the quality, sort and way you drink tea. Now, tea bags with bad tea powder from the supermarket indeed doesn’t really wake you up, as there is almost no caffeine (theine) left in there after the heavy processing. However, once you get into good quality tea, it’s a whole other world. You will be surprised at how well a good sheng pu-erh is able to wake you up, or how mate can make your day much more energetic. Do you think good tea can’t be compact and quick? It can be! It’s actually the perfect companion in an office setting in order to keep you sharp and energized. If you want to take your tea habit with you to the office, the 3 Musketeers we are going to be reviewing today can help you out and make your day more beau-tea-ful :)!

The tea category we are talking about here is called GABA, which stands for Gamma Amino Buteric Acid. It’s a natural neurotransmitter, meaning it can be found in your brain. Under normal circumstances, it keeps you calm and relaxed. However, GABA tea contains much more compounds than GABA itself, and because of this unique combination people report having a “calm focus” while drinking this tea, making it one of the best teas to be used to access the flow-state. Watch this video to understand the effects better and learn about the best ways to consume this tea.

Dima reveals one of the handiest ways to make tea on the go: the Moychay 2-in-1 bottle. If you’re in a hurry, the only thing you have to take with you is the tea inside the smaller compartment of the bottle. When you arrive at school or work, you can just add hot water and infuse the tea however you like. This gives you the Gong Fu way of infusing in a quick and compact package - on the go. This is one of the best ways to get into good tea, in a quick way.

Do you want to lose weight, speed up your metabolism or are you just tired of putting tasteless things in your cup? Try out green teas! They are you best friend when it comes to all of the above.

Today Fien, one of our first tea guides, and Dima talk about the beginnings of our project in the Netherlands: how is it to adopt a completely new tea culture and grow it in a country that's mostly centred around coffee? Well, for Fien it sometimes felt almost like a cult experience, but in the end tea can also act as a cultural connector! Do you want to know how to stay energised, told by one of the best boxers in the world? Fabio Castello Kwasi will tell us more about his routine, his life as an athlete and which tea plays the biggest role in his ability to perform. Discover the benefits of tea from Fabio's perspective in this video.

Tea is a tool that helps us to concentrate and put our thoughts in regularity. We taste different flavours, aromas and learn to differ their nuances. For example, the sort of tea from this video - Nantou Gaba Cha Oolong - has very interesting bouquet of brewed tea. I's fruity, with spice, biscuity, bready, doughey nuances, reminiscent of apricot kernel jam and marmalade. It's aroma is sweet and affectionate, fruity. It's taste is refined, full-bodied and soft, sweetish, with delicate berry sourness, transforming into refreshing finish.
